Tent Wedding Receptions at the Historic Wayside Inn! Longfellow’s Wayside can accommodate up to 200 guests in an elegant 40 by 100 foot peaked white tent. Located next to an English country garden and overlooking a tranquil lily pond surrounded by majestic weeping willows, the tent is available May through October for your dining and dancing pleasure. A Tent Wedding on the beautiful grounds of the Wayside Inn is sure to provide you and your guests with a lifetime of memories!
Martha-Mary Chapel

The Martha-Mary Chapel was built by former Inn owner Henry Ford, fashioned after the Bradford, MA meeting house with the addition of a Christopher Wren steeple. One sweeping glance at the secluded clapboard Chapel, perched at the top of it’s grassy knoll, framed by a back drop of towering white pines, and you’ll come to understand the popularity of this special, tranquil place.
A non-denominational Chapel, it was built from trees felled during the infamous hurricane of 1938, in honor of its namesakes, Henry Ford’s Mother and Mother-in-Law.
The chapel’s seating capacity is for 150 persons, including three rows in a raised balcony, which overlooks the altar. From the gilded banner weather vane atop the stark white spire, to the elegant Irish crystal chandelier above the humble pews, the charm of the Martha Mary Chapel has long been recognized as a South Sudbury landmark.

The Wainwright House is a waterfront Historic Mansion designed in the style of a Loire Valley French Chateau with a dramatic entrance behind tall iron gates.
